I am really hoping that this page is not filled with my stories, but with yours. The concept of the book is simple: Women and Men are believing a lie that if a relationship does not end in marriage it is a failure. This lie comes through friends, family and even the media.
The purpose of the book, and even this blog is to propose an alternative. We have people placed in our lives for a reason, not by accident. These people of the opposite sex, I like to call "Almosts". They are not "The One" - for one reason or another, but through our interaction with them they point us toward "The One". We have a great deal of things to learn from these people. I am excited to share my stories with you!

This idea is so great. I have a ton of "Almosts" and I'm not sure which one to talk about, lol. But I can honestly say that the one I ended up with is the perfect husband for me, and I wouldn't trade him for the world. He loves me for me, and I trust him completely (a virtue I came to value after being with many untrustworthy men). I'll have to think about which one(s) to write about!
ReplyDelete...so far ...my life has been nothing but a series of almosts and goodbyes...hopefully one day the need to listen to "almost doesn't count" on reapeat for 3 solid days will be a thing of the past :)
